Airplane mode = callers being told my number is out of service.

Recently, multiple friends and clients telling me when my phone is in airplane mode they are getting a message stating that the number is not in service OR it’s just not connecting at all.

Used to he when phone was in airplane mode people would reach my voicemail and could leave a message. Any idea what/why this is happening?

T-Mobile is my carrier if that’s relevant.
