I made a facetime link and went to join on my windows 10 pc and it didn’t even ask me to allow a mic and no mic was working on facetime, is there a way to make it work?

Hello Tugismydog,

Thanks for connecting with us here in Apple Support Communities. Does this happen each time you create a link? Have you checked the permissions and settings on your PC? You'll want to make sure that you're suing wither Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to take the FaceTime call. Check out Join a FaceTime call from an Android or Windows device - Apple Support

"An Android phone showing two people in a FaceTime call in a web browser.

What you need

  • An Android or Windows device
  • A strong Wi-Fi or cellular internet connection
  • The latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

How to join a FaceTime call on the web

  1. If you receive a link to a FaceTime call, open the link.
  2. Enter your name, then select Continue. You might need to allow FaceTime to use your microphone and camera.
  3. Select Join. Then wait for the call's host to let you in.
  4. Select Leave to leave the call."

Cheers.
