can I back-up iTunes on my computer?

Can I back-up iTunes on my computer? Unfortunately, last week when opening iTunes, 90% of my music was totally gone. I had to start over again. I don't want that happening again!

You can certainly backup your iTunes Library. Link-> Back up and restore your iTunes library on your PC - Apple Support

But I would find out why it was gone. What music was gone? Was it music from the Apple Music subscription service? Did you then cancel the subscription? Was it music you had purchased form the iTunes Store? Was it music you ripped from CDs?

Instead of treating a symptom, its would be best to identify what exactly happened and prevent it from happening again.
