Your mid-2015 MacBook Pro can upgrade to macOS Monterey (but not Ventura). Understand that Monterey is several Gigabytes larger than what you are currently running, and a larger more demanding operating system does not come with a guarantee of faster performance as that can be limited by your hardware configuration, remaining drive storage and its health, and what you may have installed that can potentially decrease performance.

Have a last Time Machine backup before any upgrade so you can fall back on that older operating system if necessary.
