iPhone 13 fell in the tub

I had my iphone 13 on a little ledge above my tub and I went to go into the kitchen to get a drink, the phone feel off the ledge and into the tub and was in the tub for a minute or two, should I be worried? If something ends up wrong with it will apple fix or replace it? Normally when I put my phone up there it’s fine, but I guess it was a little to close to the edge this time. The reason I leave it there as I take a bath is so I can listen to an audiobook or music. Has anyone here had something like this happen to them? How did it work out? I can’t afford to buy a new phone, so I feel screwed if something goes wrong. The phone seems fine, but the online sites say that the phone might not show problems for weeks or months. I really hope everything will be okay.

There is always a possibility that liquid has entered your iPhone, and to prevent any potential further damage, I suggest that you power-off your phone, and then, take it to your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options.

Should the phone need replacement AND you still have an active AppleCare+ plan, you may find that the cost will be reduced as one of the two accidental incidents that are covered under the plan. If you didn't elect to get an AppleCare+ plan, then any costs would be considered out-of-warranty and you would have to cover them at full cost.
