Trying to see the last backup on my imac..Does not seem to be easily found as it is on my Iphone that provides a date and time of the last backup.. Thanks
Check Time Machine - it should be backing automatically. iCloud is not a backup mechanism for a computer - it simply has current content of your Mac synced so you can access it from anywhere - but it is not a backup.
Thanks looking on my iMac , all items in iCloud are checked was just curious where I can find when the last backup was done. Reference to my iPhone was just stating that I can find that info on the phone but can’t find it on iMac. Both use the same cloud account. Thanks hope that helps.
You should have a backup for your computer - you need an external drive for it; then use Time Machine to make the backups.
Just so you know: since iCloud is a syncing mechanism for computers, when you delete something on your Mac, it will be automatically deleted in iCloud.
Backup of what? Do you mean of your iPhone?
