Disney plus playback problems - error 83 and displays

Question

Hello lovely apple community people.

Out of nowhere my MacBook will not play Disney Plus content.

Loads the site, won't playback content.

All other streaming services are fine, which rules out connection.

Works on the app on my iPhone

Point blank refuses on my external monitor.

Plays briefly then stops on my MacBook

Both give me error 83.

Oddly it only seems to have happened since I downloaded zoom for an interview.

I have deleted zoom, but nothing has changed.

I do not want any wise a**e comments about Disney thank you, just help please

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you've done a great job of isolating this so far.

It's important to note that only Safari 11+ appears to be compatible with Disney+ which we found here - Computer and browser requirements for Disney+.

If you are using a compatible macOS and this continues, try the guidance from If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected - Apple Support. All steps and sections in that article can help isolate the issue to network, settings or the website.
