That would require a resign and change order with the manufacturers, I would not look for that to happen now matter how many people tell them. I'm sure they considered that prior to making the change.

None of the Apple online stores will shop outside of their region. And if you are using a shipping forwarder in the US then Apple will eventually determine that and cancel those orders. Are there no authorized resellers where you are?

There are three versions, the US one with no physical SIMs, China, Macau and Hong Kong with only physical SIMs and the rest of the world with eSIM and physical SIM. I seriously doubt Apple will change this over the next 12 months. And it would be very hard as it involves production logistics. Apple didn't put back the 30 pin connector or the headphone jack.

Buy it from somewhere near you that sells one with the physical SIM tray. On the US model does not have the SIM tray.

It’s too soon to see other workarounds like resellers before these phones are fully in the channels. I will likely be able to get the one I need. I understood that the Canadian version is identical to the US, all features, plus has the tray. That production line is already running. Not that hard for Apple to add that SKU for the US, if they would. But anyway, I can wait for the solution to arrive. Even eBay if not a ripoff price.

Apple has online stores for various countries. The US iPhone 14 model is eSIM. Only.

I tried to preorder on the Canadian site but it won’t take a US zip code. I will lose my great annual service plan if I go with eSIM. Will have to wait for another way to get one. Apple might add it as an option for the US, after enough of us tell them we need it.

Yes, however they stopped all production of the headphone jacks 100%. The SIM tray models are still in production. We’ll have to wait and see. I’ll get a Canadian version if necessary, that could be the quickest route.

The US online Apple Store will not ship outside the US.
