Google Calendar in macOS (CardDav)

I got an error after trying to add a Google Calendar account in a macOS Internet Accounts:

Checking account name or password failed.

A Google Calendar account works fine in iPhone and iPad internet accounts.

What should I do now?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.5

If we understand your post correctly, you're having trouble adding an account to Calendar on your Mac but you were able to add the same account on your iPhone and your iPad. We’d like to help.
