orange dot and speaker issues

Ever since getting off a facetime with a friend, there has been an orange dot at the top of my screen and my speaker has been very quiet. Whats going on?

Loud media sound when receiving a call Hi, so I have an issue that I don’t know how to fix! the issue is.. whenever someone calls me while I am watching,for example Instagram reels, the sound of the video gets SO SO loud and it continues for every next video until I click the sound button. It is a problem because it sometimes happens at night or when I am in public and it is a bit embarrassing:/ What could I do to fix this? Thanks in advance!
