Dual Sim from 2 cell companies does not work

Hi everyone.

I have an iPhone 11 with dual sim capability.

I have a physical Sim with Vodafone and an eSim with EE.

Despite everything I have tried, I cannot get the e-sim to operate. EE, the network provider has everything set up from their end. But on the iPhone it shows all data as if taken over by Vodafone on the physical sim card.

I would really appreciate any help and guidance.

Thanks.

You need to check with Vodafone to see if your iPhone is locked to their network. Carriers can and do lock devices to their networks if you purchased the phone from them or their representatives. If this is the case you will need to ask Vodafone about the procedures for unlocking your iPhone so you can use another carrier. Once unlocked your EE account should work.

In the future be aware that you can buy an unlocked iPhone directly from Apple.
