Migration Assistant

What happen if don't have anything to migrate, when prompt Migration Assistant, stated if you have information on another device.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.6

Then don't use Migration assistant. It is really only to facilitate transferring files from an old Mac or Windows PC to a new Mac.
