Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock

I know this product has recently been discontinued, but my question is, will it support fast charging if used with a newer USB-C to Lightning cable and a higher watt USB-C wall charger? Thx

Fast charging is not an option that's available for the Apple Watch Series 5. It's currently available for the Apple Watch Series 7. That information is outlined here: Charge Apple Watch - Apple Support

Not likely. The Fast Charging is only with the USB-C cables.

Thanks for the response. I understand that the Apple Watch I currently own doesn’t support fast charging, but I’m thinking of upgrading to the Series 8 watch. I’m trying to determine if my magnetic charging dock will support fast charging if used with a usb-c to lightning cable along with a higher wattage charger when trying to charge a Series 8 watch. Thanks.
