No cellular data

My phone recently started saying no service at the top so no bars and it says no cellular data I reset network settings and it will work for 5mins then kicks back off I tried everything my phone service company says it’s apple I have to contact but still no feedback any advice I need my phone to work. It also says I need an update but I don’t I plugged into iTunes and says updated no new updates
