Rubbing Alcohol Inside Phone

I brought my XR to have the battery replaced. Once I got it back I noticed something was wrong with the screen. I brought it back and the technician said that it was probably rubbing alcohol that wasn't completely dry. She replaced the screen and everything seemed to work fine until I plugged it in to charge. When I plugged it in the phone started glitching and most of my screen was unresponsive. I brought it back again and she said she probably used too much and she will let it dry out for a few hours. Now I'm wondering if my phone will ever work properly again. Is my phone fried? Thanks!

I can't imagine this screen replacement was performed at an Apple Store. If it was done at an unauthorized service provider, we couldn't possibly know what they did or what they messed up, but it sounds pretty bad. And if the screen replacement wasn't done by Apple, Apple won't touch your phone. So it may be a total loss and time to buy a new phone.
