How can I undo a "Mark all as played" action made by mistake?

This morning I clicked on mark all as played by accident on a podcast.

It has no undo function and the podcast I am listening to has hundreds of episodes.

I also haven’t listened in any order so it will be difficult to go through and click all individually and very time-consuming.

Does anybody know of a fix where at the very least I could mark them all as unplayed and overtime go back and mark the episodes I have listened to as played as I come across them?

I don’t understand why there is no undo for this option.

maybe I should download a different podcast app and start again

Hello EmmaMMcKay,

While there isn't an option to mark all episodes as unplayed at once on an iPhone, you may opt to leave feedback on Apple's dedicated feedback page here: Product Feedback - Apple

If you're using a computer, you may opt to hold Shift while selecting multiple episodes, and then right-click/Control-click, and then choose 'Mark as Unplayed', and this will mark the selected episodes as unplayed.

Cheers.
