Screen recording turns on by itself with no recording

My screen recording is turning on by itself without notifying or appearing on the top screen. Caught it twice when i swiped the screen down. It was blinking red. Swiping down the screen is the only way I would know. Once i tap that blinking red, it stops but no recording goes to my gallery. Is my phone being secretly remotely recorded? Or is this a glitch? What should I do to stop this? This is so bothersome that our privacy maybe invaded.
