Either your US carrier will offer international roaming, or you will (as mentioned above) need an international carrier offering eSIM.

If you buy a U.S. iPhone 14, the foreign carrier will have to offer an eSIM option. Otherwise, you won't be able to use that carrier. The US iPhone 14 will NOT support a physical SIM.
