How do I migrate mid 2010 iMac to 2017 iMac. Specifically connecting computer to computer.

I need to know how to connect mid 2010 iMac to 2017 iMac, so I can migrate from old to newer. My mid 2010 is connected to the internet via Ethernet cable now. I have wifi as well. Can I do it usb to usb? My old iMac runs OS High Sierra 10.13.6. The 2017 I am not sure, I bought from a refurbished Apple website. I haven't taken it out of the box yet.
