Change Display Name

Can you tell me what is supposed to go into the Description field?

I partially followed the directions at Set up your My Card in Contacts on Mac however, I didn't see a "me" icon in my card. The only info on my card is the name I use for personal emails. However, on my iphone, my card displays my full name, email and address. I find that now and then when I look up something on my mac help, some of the steps do not exist with what I see on the screen. It all seemed less complicated prior to Monterey. Thanks for your response.

I've also been trying to open a new account for my Yahoo email. But Outlook will not accept my Yahoo password, which I've double checked. This question probably doesn't belong here, but thought I'd mention it. It's all very bizarre.

Is it at all possible that my issues could be a result of using Chrome instead of Safari?

I have tried both suggestions but it just doesn't work for me In Accounts the email field shows my name and email address in the same field. When I try to edit the field to remove my name, I wind up at my sign in for iCloud.

Additionally, I added an Exchange account for my Outlook email. When it came time to input the description and email, I used the first part of my email as my name and input my email address into the email field. When finished, I emailed from my Outlook email to my Mail account and my real name was to the left of my email address in the From field.

I hope this all makes sense. I spent hours yesterday trying over and over thinking that I may have skipped a step or missed something. Nothing worked.

Unfortunately, I am a sole proprietor so that makes me the Exchange Administrator. Taking a deeper dive with Apple Support seems the way to go. Thank you.
