Migrating from old to new MacBook air

How long should it take? It’s been 24 hours and still says 52 hours!!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5

24 hours is not unheard of, but if you have reason to suspect it will never finish you might as well terminate the migration. Your new Mac may start up ok and everything will have transferred correctly, or the migration may be incomplete. Or, it may not even start at all.


You won't know until you try.
