Warranty on iphones outside the country

In Apple's published iPhone Warranty, it is specifically stated iPhone Warranty may be limited to the country of purchase. Most of the time this is exactly what it means and people come here often upset they were denied warranty service in a country other than the country of purchase. It's always advisable to purchase your iPhone in the country you live and will use the phone. That way, there can never be any concern with valid warranties. Buyer beware.......
