Voice messages muffled on iMessage but nowhere else fix

I had a problem with iMessage where any voice message I sent sounded really low with static, but in all the other apps my voice messages worked fine, I found some answers but none worked for me and I couldn’t reply to the threads once I found my solution so this is for anyone that might run into this and what worked for me. Most said to clean your speakers or reset but that didn’t do much for me so I went to settings, then messages and I turned iMessage off and then on, after that my voice messages worked fine on iMessage
