I am unable to add my new credit card on Apple

I am presently unable to add my new credit card to Apple Pay. I have a Mac Book Pro 2016 with updated software

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.5

Can’t add a card to Apple Wallet - iPhone 14 Pro I’ve just changed my phone to the iPhone 14 Pro. When trying to add my debit card to the wallet it says “unable to add card” I previously used the same card with my previous phone and watch for Apple Pay with no issues. Apple said to contact my bank, contacted my bank, they said to contact Apple. The phone is up to date with the latest software and has a strong wifi connection. Ive tried adding the card several times, signed out of my Apple ID and then back in again, restarted iPhone to no avail. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Can I transfer apple credit from a gift card to my Apple Cash? i don’t have a card but I can’t find a way to move apple credit from gift cards to my Apple Cash
