Photo roll is black

I shared a iPad and now when I open pictures it is black and says photo shared It will not return to photo roll

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12

If you haven't already, let's start by a restart of the iPad. Restart your iPad - Apple Support

If that doesn't work, then lets quit and restart the Photos app. Quit and reopen an app on iPad - Apple Support

If you are still having issues, get back to us with a bit more information. What specifically do you mean by "shared a iPad"? Did you loan the device to someone else to use or did you share images or files to somewhere else like another computer, iCloud, etc?

Photos icloud sync paused to save battery on iPhone 12 Just some background information. I never had this happen until iOS 16 update. I have a good internet connection. It does not happen on my iPad and I've restarted and looked at all the iCloud and battery settings. My photos are not syncing to iCloud and it says iCloud sync has paused to save battery.. even though I could be at 100% and it still happens. There's a "resume" option and after I tap that every time the sync starts and completes. I'll open up a ticket with Apple but the only resolution I can think of is either telling me about a setting that I'm missing (unlikely) or there is a bug.
