No. Even with iOS 16, you'll only have 2 minutes to delete (15 minutes to edit). And that is IF the other party is also using 16. If they are still on iOS 15 or using an android phone, it won't work at all.
And that's assuming they haven't already read the message.
Sorry, this can't be done using the current version of iOS 15.
iOS 16 will support this, using iMessage.
