Hi I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find the answer. I’m in putting a start time let’s say 09:30 and end time 15:00. I want to have a cell that tells me the duration or how many hours and mins it’s taken and have that convert to decimal and output 5.5.
Numbers has a family of DUR2 functions to convert to decimal values. The one you want here is DUR2HOURS.
=DUR2HOURS(B2−A2)
