Hi, I want to connect that headset to my IPhone 12 lightning connector. I find a lot of adapters on amazon but none which explicitly supports a microphone. Is it even possible to connect a headset (i.e. headphone plus microphone with a single 3,5 jack) to the iphones lightning port?

think the problem is that the industrial std in terms of mini jack connector is only stereo, so there are many std's for the minijack with stereo audio out and mono mic input
if you look further in the google search and maybe on amazon you may stumble across some adaptor that people verify to work with the headset you wish to connect.
Thanks, however the one you specify does not provide a 3,5mm 4-pin jack plug (as I tried to explain in the question). The google search also did not reveal anything in that regard.
