Why the estimate time in software update is misleading? I waited for at least 10 mins for the update when the phone said that it is about 2 seconds remaining? Probably I should never trust the estimated time.

What are you uploading? If you're uploading something large at the same time that you're trying to download a software update, that might cause issues.
That will depend on the speed of the internet that your device is connected to.
It also depends on the server load. When half the people who own iPhones are trying to upload at the same time, it takes longer.

I definitely agree with you. But I think that the estimate time should consider that, otherwise, it won’t be useful. It makes me feel a fraud just like the ice-cream with fake vanilla.
