When is Roon integration coming?

If it doesn’t get here soon I’ll probably drop Apple Music and go to Qobuz. Roon works great with Qobuz.

Mac mini 2018 or later

Files provided by Apple Music streaming service are DRM protected. This is the reason why Roon can’t see and play them. Purchased tracks don’t contain DRM anymore and do work in Roon.

You can try to leave a feedback and hope that Apple will consider a Roon integration: Feedback - Apple Music - Apple

It's up to Apple. This is mostly a user-based community: we don't know Apple's future plans.

Roon requires the streaming service's database metadata in order to work seamlessly with it. Until Apple and Roon don't establish an agreement in this direction, the integration unfortunately won't happen.

Thank you for your reply. I was assuming Apple monitored this forum. Roon can find and play all the music I have purchased from iTunes. However, files I have downloaded from Apple Music are invisible to Roon. It’s unfortunate, as I love the Apple Music service, but can’t play anything from it through Roon. Sonos works with Apple Music, but it doesn’t support high bit rates.
