My computer wants me to do the following.
I walk through all the steps entering my Apple ID password to set up icloud, then enter he password for my MAC. and this is where I get stuck. I am not able to enter the passcode I use to unlock my iPHone.
Help - What do I do?

I figured it out on my own. I recently updated to an iphone 13 from an iphone 8 not sure if that has anything to do with it. But where I was used to using alphabet 6 digit to unlock my phone - now need the numbers. The fields on the MAC will not accept alphabet . Would have been nice to know this.

Why can't you enter the code? What happens if you click Forgot Passcode?
I have tried repeatedly to do this and get stuck in the same spot every time.
