Verticle Red Line on Screen

My new MacBook Air just developed a thin vertical red line on the right of the screen. What causes this and how do I fix it?

Take a screenshot and open it in Preview. If the display anomaly does not appear in that screenshot, then arrange for service here: Get Support.

When following @John Galt's suggestion, make sure to move the picture to the side a bit so the picture and the line don't perfectly overlap on screen. You can also try viewing the screenshot on another device or display.
