Hi there,
I have recently upgraded iOS to 16 and somehow I am not getting the "duplicate" option under utilities in the "photos" app.
Also does it not show up if no duplicates are there?
I tried taking duplicate photos but still, the utility was not showing up.
Kindly look into it.

The ‘Duplicates’ album in Photos appears under “Utilities” when Photos detects duplicates in the library. The detection process requires the device to be locked and connected to power, and depending on the size of the library and other background tasks going on, could happen quickly or take up to a few days to fully process.

Yes, the user guide says so - the "Duplicate" album is only shown, if some duplicates have been detected. It may take a while, until Photos has scanned the library. Give your iPhone time to do the scan and keep it connected to a power source over night, when you are not using it.
