How can I get the old Modular Watch face back?

WatchOS 9 removed the old Modular watch face and renamed the Infographic Modular to Modular. How can I get the old Modular back? I need the larger numbers for some of the complications like temperature.

If you actually read the thread you just posted to, you'd see no one on this user to user only forum has anything to do with Apple nor does anyone here have any ability to bring anything back. It's usually good to read past the first post.

There is a feedback link posted multiple times in the thread, which you can use to let Apple know what you want.

We are users. We can't delete things. Only the Hosts can do that. And they only do that if you violate the terms of use, not because we "get" them to.

Do you assert that Apple ignores all case notes from Apple Genius Bar? From AppleCare phone support? From other points of contact?

Absolutely not. It's rather odd that you would read "doesn't read the Forums for feedback" and come up with the notion that we think Apple support doesn't keep records or refer to them.

I understand that some parties within Apple are agendized to push you to the feedback form, but if you actually believe that’s the only or most likely way to be heard that’s interesting.

It's fascinating what conclusions you jump to with partial knowledge. The Hosts are lovely people but they have never told me what to post, never suggested I post something. They have, on occasion, requested I dial back a bit on the snark

I make no such assertions. Only that Apple isn't on this forum, for the most part. And this is a pointless discussion. No one here changed the Modular Face. No one here can bring it back as it was. Whether you or I am correct in what Apple "may or may not glean" from these forums makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER.

Ps: We don't "get things deleted." We don't have the ability to delete anything. Only the forum hosts delete content, which is in violation of the terms of use users agreed to, when they joined the forum.

I suppose it depends on what the knowledge is about. I don't believe anyone is doubting what you know about Apple devices. But you clearly keep demonstrating a lack of knowledge over the Terms of Use for this forum, regardless of whether you've been on it since 1999. And in that time you have not earned a single point for helping anyone on the forum?

You might benefit from reading the Terms of Use for the forum, so you know what is permitted and what is not permitted --> Apple Support Communities Use Agreement - Apple Community

The silliest thing about this discussion is that you ask me to say things which are not permitted and then claim victory based on that. Weeks ago I stated some of my literal forum experience here, but it got deleted after you guys reported it. Apparently my answer violated the term that says we can’t discuss moderation? Effectively speaking, you guys with the points can discuss moderation, but the rest of us can’t? This sort of hyper procedural focus that distracts from all actual conversation is why I don’t come here much any longer. Though this comment has not broken any rules, I expect it will disappear.

I’ve been using this forum since at least 1999. I cant explain the ID resets, and most of my posts were from a former work account. In any case, on any given issue the longevity of a user is only as relevant as the circumstances permit. A new user cannot be assumed to have less knowledge than long-time users.

I don't judge people based on the number of points they have. I judge them based on the content of their posts.

Apple employees do read every post (just not for feedback) so, the fact that you've had posts deleted doesn't necessarily mean anyone reported you for anything.

None of us have really discussed moderation other than to say it's not our responsibility.

What I’m saying is that you guys keep trolling out your vast experience, but if I respond with my actual experience with regard to this forum, a description of my actual experience here would actually violate the terms. It’s kind of a crazy conversational situation. And nothing in my experience here was secret at the time, and we were allowed to post openly at the time within the rules. But now to describe it with any details seems to violate the rules, so I literally cannot respond to you. 😂

All of this back and forth about the mechanics of the forum are not helpful to those of us who just want a better watch face. Perhaps those of you who want to discuss it need to start a new thread. Hopefully Apple is paying attention to comments submitted through the feedback link. I don't know if Apple is really paying attention to this forum or not (please do not reply to that point), but it would be nice if someone with authority at Apple would at least say something, if not on the forum in a press release or an email to registered users, so we know if we should stick with an Apple watch or consider Fitbit or Garmin for our next purchase. Or better yet, actually post a workable solution on the forum--the ones posted so far have not helped me, alas.

No one from Apple will respond here. And you'd likely pass out from holding your breath before you see any kind of press release or statement from Apple about a change to a watch face.

Honestly, if this one face is that important to you, important enough to make you consider a competition's product, that's a decision you'll need to make. It's always best to buy the products which best meet your needs.

I never personally cared for the Modular Face, though I did use it long ago. Is there really no other watch face you can use which will meet your needs? I use multiple watch faces, most currently the Wayfinder face, which is exclusive to Apple Watch Ultra. But there are many other faces I use as well.

I've posted another update on the Apple website to ask to have the TEMP and BATTERY complications restored and thanked them for getting the central DATE restored. We all sound like broken records here but why would a developer REPLACE something? ENHANCE, YES, by all means, the more options the better but it's when an option is simply removed with no explanation or justification that infuriates me. I guess all we can do is keep plugging away at them.
