Find My App on macOS

Since the 12.6 update I've been having a problem with the "Find MY" App on my MacBook Pro. When try to find "People", family members, it will show at first "No location", when I click on the names it will spin and one will show the correct location with the edited name but the other two will not. The locations and edited names or fine on the iPhone.

Greetings FelixGarcia,

Next we will want to ensure that Date & Time is correct on the MacBook Pro.

To do this, click the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner then choose System Preferences. Click on the Date & Time icon and we want to ensure the information there is correct. Additionally, if you haven't already enable the option to "Set date and time automatically" then test again.

If the issue persist the next step would be to restart the Mac into safe mode and test. You can do that as follows:

1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key as your Mac starts up.
2. Release the key when you see the login window, then log in to your Mac.
3. You might be asked to log in again. On either the first or second login window, you should see ”Safe Boot” in the upper-right corner of the window.

You can view more information on the process here:

This resource provides additional guidance for steps that you can complete if or if not the issue persist in safe mode.

Hello FelixGarcia,

To help resolve this issue, let's turn off your location services, restart your Mac and turn the location services back on: Set up Find My on Mac - Apple Support

Turn off Location Services
1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy , then click Privacy.
2. If the lock at the bottom left is locked , click it to unlock the preference pane.
3. Click Location Services on the left.
4. Select Enable Location Services, then select Find My in the list of apps.
If you don’t see Find My, go to System Services in the list of apps, click Details, then select Find My Mac.

Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

Next, follow the steps above to reenable the location services.

Best Regards.
