My screen stopped responding to touch. I'm thinking of changing screen will it fix it? Or any other problems that caused it?

if it was me then my first step would be
Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
if the screen is truly dead and you wish to have it repaired then if you don't use apple approved repair place and they use unofficial parts face id would stop working
