How to remove Nikkud from Hebrew Keyboard iOS 16

Hello guys, I’m really frustrated, I updated my iPhone to iOS 16 yesterday, the update is great and all… but, the one thing that drives me crazy is that apple added this “Nikkud” in the Hebrew keyboard (it helps with how each letter sounds), and I always press it by a mistake, also, no one I know use Nikkud, literally no one. We have Nikkud only in the Bible, we don’t usually write with Nikkud… I don’t know a single person that does.

I didn’t find a way to remove it from the Hebrew keyboard yet, please tell me there’s a way to remove it, all my friends and family are frustrated by this as well, and I guess also most of Hebrew speakers, what can I do? 😩

There's no way to change Apple's keyboards yourself, but you can ask them to do it via

If it's a big problem, see if there is something better in the app store (check the Keyman app).
