I was wondering if I can trade in my European iPhone 13 Pro Max without the mm wave antenna band in any US Apple stores and get trade in value?
in December I’m planning to visit family in Nashville and if possible I would like to upgrade to the new 14 pro max with the trade in program, I would just like to know if it could be done in one visit or not 🙂

I meant for you to speak with a local store in the area you plan to visit…not the store in your country or the Apple Support phone number for your country. You need to speak to someone in the US to verify procedures the US store will allow. This is also why I said you or your friend contact them to ask.
I would contact a local Apple store (or have your friend do it) directly to ask.
US iPhones are Esim only.
They don’t have a physical SIM card tray.
There will be no warranty or replacement services for them in your country.
You will also have to make sure your cellular provider supports Esim or you will not be able to use the phone.
You can usually sell it yourself for more than you will receive in trade, as long as it's in excellent condition.
Thank you 🙏 I’m already over that, they couldn’t help me because there is no trade-in in my region and they have directed me to try and initiate a live chat with an Apple support employee but once again that not available from this region (Hungary) basically I will just have to bite the bullet and make an international call and get to the bottom of this
The ESIM is not an issue for me and I don’t mind the warranty
Nobody would give 700$ for a used iPhone around here and in America when I’m visiting family I’m not gonna have time to deal with selling the phone on the market…
