iPhone Battery Percentage Icon Not Decreasing in iOS 16

Im using iphone 11 pro max and when i turn on display battery percentage on my iphone the battery capacity in icon doesn’t decrease ?

You are correct. The icon FILL does not decrease with the battery unless the battery reaches 20% and then the symbol changes.
