So recently I ran into the problem of not being able to see new emails being sent to my mail. I'm only able to see the emails prior to this incident as it has already been 3 days. I've tried searching for solutions but none of them have helped. I've looked through articles, the common answer is to look at an option called " fetching" which I have already done so and nothing has helped. Keep in mind this is on the standard mail app provided by apple.

No, I have not yet. How would I delete the account and reset my device as you briefly mentioned above? Also, would this keep all my personal data that belongs to that email?
See the first link of how to add an account. You can enter the same places and delete the account. If you have am IMAP mail account, the emails should sync back when you add the account back.
