Approve Apple Watch as a medical Device

Hello,

How should government officials contact apple in order to approve the Apple Watch as a Medical device so people can use the ECG and other features from Apple Watch? Thank you in advance.

It would be up to Apple to pursue any industry or regulatory approvals it might desire to obtain for it’s products.

ECG feature is not available in our region. and from previous questions the app needs to be approved by the government. How would that go about? Is Apple contacting the government or the government can reach out to Apple for such request, and which appropriate channel should it be?
