Hello. Fresh install of iOS 16, not restored from backup, when plugged into CarPlay, the device gets VERY hot. Has anyone else encountered this? Closed background apps, restarted, etc. Nick

Just got a 14 pro, because I thought my 11 pro was dying/battery was on fritz. The 14 pro heats up FASTER on CarPlay! I'm an uber driver, this is a serious issue!
I have the iPhone Xs Max and it gets really hot while using WiFi and same happens to my wife’s iPhone. Apple needs to get this seriously before some one gets injured.
I quit charging in the car thinking that was it (Iphone 14,
IOS 16.6) Driving to work this morning, 70 degrees, phone in shirt pocket, it overheated. My main issue is that Apple refuses to acknowledge that there is an problem.
Just received my new IPhone 14 and now my phone gets hot and shuts off while running CarPlay WAZE/Maps and anything else. Doesn’t matter if wireless or plugged in and Happens on both cars. I did not have this issue with my IPhone 12 and I am super irritated. This is not a car issue.
