Has the Iphone 14 Pro Max been delayed?

iPhone 14 Pro Max preorders opened on Friday, September 9th, with the official launch date of September 16th. Millions of people preordered on the 9th and many, myself included will receive their new iPhone 14 Pro Max on the 16th. If you try to order one today, you'll see a delivery range of from October 16th - 29th. And as more and more people order one, the delivery date can and likely will push further out.
But to answer your question, the launch is going to happen as scheduled and the phone has not be delayed, unless of course you didn't order one and you were hoping you get ahead of those who did order one, which isn't very likely.
Ordered Sept 11 an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Delivery for 19 Oct - 26 Oct. Checked shipping status on 19 Oct and see a new delivery of 26 Oct - 2 Nov. Very incompetent.
At the very least Apple should alert customers that they are delaying delivery by a week.
Apple provides a convenient way to check the status of your order. If you sat there expecting a special email, that's just not what Apple does.

When I have an online order with Apple, I check the status often. You can too. You can check from a Website. You can open the Apple Store App on your iPhone and check inside there.
"Common courtesy?" I don't think anyone was preventing you from checking the status of your order? I'm not sure what the point of expressing your dissatisfaction on this with just other users on this user to user only forum? No one from Apple is here. We have nothing to do with the order system. Hence why I provided a link if you want to let Apple know your thoughts.
I have my delivery between 24th to 31st but no update yet, still under processing. But from preparing for shipment to delivery it will be really quick. So you might get it between that time frame, not before that for sure.
I try to buy on 25 November that time it's showing 10 January but on 26 November it's shows 29 December so i buy and still showing 29 November even 3 day's gone but the date didn't went ahead i hope for best that i will receive my i phone on date of arrival and you as well
I am new to iPhones,so new infact that I am still waiting for it 😆 and what I'm going to say is not going to go down well with some in this community but here goes
I deliver for a large Australian electronics store who know people from apple and all the buzz going around is that it is delayed because of the pathetic sales of the 14 plus.
I'm not saying I know or believe this as a fact just passing on what I am hearing.
In this particular store a lot of people have eventually changed their order from the Pro Max to the plus.
As I said I am New to Apple so I don't know what to believe but 10 weeks and three delivery dates missed and counting is not a good start

Nothing is guaranteed. My comment above to you simply means that typically, Apple's delivery window is pretty accurate.

I pre-ordered the iPhone 14 Pro Max through Verizon on the 13th, says my phone won’t arrive until Oct. 7th. Should I assume that’s the truth or hope it will get here earlier than expected?
That sounds like a question for the Verizon forum (if one exists).
Maybe you should have ordered your phone from Apple. If you have an issue here with your order, its with Xfinity.
Oh trust me! This is truly a lesson learned. My next iPhone ordered will be ordered directly through Apple…..By the time I receive the 14 it will be time for the 15……SMH
I have prebooked from a store on the first day ie 9th of September so I should get the phone by 16 of September and today is 3rd October still I didn’t receive my phone.
