Are Screen Time requests in Messages working?

I have two devices running iOS 16, but Screen Time requests are still coming the old way. Is there some other requirement to getting them to show up in Messages?

Greetings The Shockwave,

If you are having some difficulty using Screen Time, let's look at what the cause might be. For the app limit notifications you mentioned, they will still come in the old way in Settings > Screen Time, but they should also come into the Messages app in addition to the old way. If this isn't occurring currently when your child requests more time, try restarting both devices and attempt the request for additional time again.

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, or 13

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right

  3. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  4. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Take care.
