iOS 16

My iPad updated to iOS 15.7. The Software Update says my iPadOS is up to date. iOS 16 does not come up as an option to install. I have a new iPad Air 5th generation with plenty of open space (over 100gb). It’s fully charged. I am connected to the same wifi network my phone is on.

My phone updated to 15.7 then I was given the option to download and install 16 right aft it finished installing 15.7.

iPadOS 16 for iPads has not been released yet.

It is currently scheduled for October. See: iPadOS 16 Preview - Apple
