Volume going all the way down when I connect a 3.5 mm aux cable.
I have an Iphone SE 2022 and bought a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter. Why does the volume go all the way down when I connect the 3.5mm aux cable in my car?

To clarify, does this happen with headphones compatible with your 3.5mm adapter or only while in the car? If you adjust the volume on your iPhone while connected, unplug your aux cable, and plug it back in, does it maintain the same volume? If the issue is with the car volume, adjust it while connected, and repeat these steps.
