Apple Watch Series 7 battery drain Watch OS 9

First try resetting the watch:

Depress and hold the crown and side button until the Apple logo appears

Next would be to unpair the watch and re setup the watch. Sometimes setting up as new works better than restoring from backup

I did a complet reset, battery is now better than on os 8xx. 76% still after a normal working day with normal use.

7-8 hours of very light use. Series 7 watchOS 9. Didn’t even open any apps or barely touched the screen. Wifi, cellular, sound all off. Brightness lowest. Screen Always on active.

battery drained from 100% to 15% now.

I am having the same issue since updating my Series 7 to Watch OS 9.0. My watch also gets hot enough that I have to take it off when it's draining the battery., I go from 100% to 29% in just over 3hrs

I've got the same problem. I've tried all I found. From 100% to 0% during the night in sleep mode with cellular and wifi turned off.

my series 5 is doing the exact same thing after OS9 update.

Mine is exactly the same but it drains from 100% to 10% in about 6 hours 🥺

I'm still facing the same issue. My apple watch battery would last me the whole day now It goes to like 25% by 3 PM. I have unpaired my apple watch like twice.
