Internet connectoom

my MacBook Air has only connected to my home wood service for the past few years. I just switched home services and cannot get online now. It says I am online, but I cannot access anything. Any ideas?

I am assuming you are connected to your wireless network, but that network is not connected to the Internet, meaning you can't load web pages, etc. I suspect that problem resulted from some change to your network or ISP.

I can’t seem to pull it up after running the wireless diagnostic. Not sure why that is. It may be my ignorance in knowing how to view it, however. I click on it after it runs and nothing come up. Very frustrating. I have an appointment at the Genius bar tomorrow. fingers crossed we can figure it out. This has been very frustrating. I am hoping I can back things up on my hard drive. I wrote a novel and it’s on my hard drive, and I’m terrified I’m gonna lose the copy. I will let you know how it goes. Thank you so much for your help.

That shouldn't be related to the ability to get online. Is something else wrong?
