Phone battery
Since updating my phone yesterday to ios16 my battery health has dropped down by 2% and the actual battery is going down really fast. I have only had my phone for 7 months

It is not uncommon to notice a temporary decrease in battery life following an update. This is usually due to background tasks that take place to index your data for use with the new software. While how long this takes can vary based on how much personal data there is to index, you should notice things go back to normal within 2-3 days following the update.
As for the overall health of your battery, this will drop with use and time. iPhone batteries are expected to last 500 charge cycles before the health drops to 80%, after that you'll need to replace the battery.
