AppleTV+ promotion

Called Apple, tech said I couldn't redeem my Apple TV promotion for my new MAC because I had AppleTV in the last 3 years. is that true?

The offer is for users that haven’t had Apple TV+ before. It is an extended trial.

The Apple TV Promo cannot be redeemed if you used another apple TV promo in the past, like a free year.
